It also includes Daniel Betts as Simon Ball, Topher Grace as Matt Little, Anthony Michael Hall as Greg Pulver, John Magaro as Cory Staggart, and Scoot McNairy as Sean Cullen. This fictionalized version of the book is all set to be released on Netflix on May 26, 2017.

Story of the movie in detail: War Machine

The principal photography on the movie started in mid-October 2015 in London. Later on October 19, filming began in Abu Dhabi; the city was transformed into Kabul. Some scenes were also filmed at the Dunsfold Aerodrome in Surrey, England. Talking about the story of this movie, it is an absurdist war story. It recreates a U.S. General’s roller-coaster rise and fall as part reality and part savage parody.

Further more the director is raising the specter of just where the line between them lies today. He is an exploration of a born leader’s ultra-confident march right into the dark heart of folly.  In the movie, Brad Pitt is a lucky, charismatic four-star general who leaped in like a rock star to command NATO forces in Afghanistan. That is only to be taken down by a journalist’s no-holds-barred expose. For more in conclusion do watch the trailer of the movie.
